Packaging Design with Insight | Brand Situation Analysis

Assess the Situation and Design with Insight

Brand design is undoubtedly a multidisciplinary field that requires continuous learning, boundless creativity, and a constant embrace of the unknown. This is the core reason we chose and love this profession: because we love it, we are driven toward it.

For Reding Packaging customers, this topic is most useful when it is connected to real packaging production: material selection, printing, finishing, sample proofing, quality control and export packing for custom labels, stickers, paper bags and packaging boxes.

At Reding, our team’s culture is built on a simple belief: “Progress a little every day!” Every new project we take on is approached with seriousness, responsibility, and heart. Moreover, we always strive for innovation and customization tailored specifically to each company (never using templates). The best case study is always the next one.

Achieving this level of design isn’t possible by staying narrow-minded. Designers with a broad perspective must first immerse themselves in professional knowledge and, more importantly, constantly expand their horizons and stay attuned to trends.

It’s often said that design comes from life. For me, design is life — an ongoing journey of observation and exploration. It is precisely through these incremental insights that we can quickly find precise, effective solutions for each brand design project.

Many new clients, when consulting us for the first time, often ask whether we’ve worked on projects in their industry before. I’ve emphasized in many of my previous articles that this is not the best way to assess a design firm’s qualifications. While it may seem like a safe or conservative approach, I firmly believe that trend insights are more valuable than relying solely on “past case studies” when it comes to ensuring the fresh possibilities for a brand design project.

This explains why, in initial discussions, I prefer to explain our latest ideas based on trend insights, rather than simply showcasing past projects, which may inadvertently limit the conversation. Our previous work was tailored specifically for other clients. Without understanding your company’s positioning and current situation, it’s easy to fall into subjective judgments — either liking or disliking what you see — but that has little relevance to our current consultation.

Instead, I look forward to diving deeper into your company’s needs and challenges, and exploring whether we can find common ground through trend insights. Once we reach a consensus (and decide to collaborate), we can then proceed with creating a custom brand design solution specifically for your company through our team’s established processes.

Where the heart goes, nothing is out of reach!
